    1.      Text Messaging is a mobile device with text messaging, also called SMS(Short Message Service), capability allows users to send and receive short text messages, typically fewer than 300 characters, on a phone or other mobile device or computer.

     2.      It consist of one or more earth-based receivers that accept and analyze signals sent by satellites in order to determine the receiver’s geographic location.

GPS can be uses  to assist people with determining where they ar located, creating a map, ascertaining the best road between two points, locating a lost person or stolen object, determining altitude, and calculating speed, give information about nearby points of interest. In nowdays many vehicles and mobile devices such as smart phone use GPS to provide drivers with directions or other information, and also GPS receivers work in conjunction with a cellular wireless network. Parents, for example, can locate a child’s wherebouts through a cell phone equipped with a GPS receiver.

      3.      Lan is a network that connects computers and devices in a limited geographical area such as a home, school computer laboratory, office building, or closely positioned grup of buildings.
MAN (metropolitan area netwok) is  a high speed network that connects local area networks in a metropolitan area such as a city or town and handles the bulk of cummunications activity across that region.
WAN(Wide area network) is a network that covers a large geographic area like a city, country, or world, using a communications channe; that combines many type of media such as telephone lines, cables,and radio waves .

Wireless LAN is a Lan that use no phsical wires
